Buckinghamshire (Hybrid 2 days per weeks in office)


Our client, a well-established organisation with an outstanding reputation within its specialised industry, is seeking a hard-working and self-motivated Finance Assistant to join their team initially on an 18-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an intelligent individual to build on previous skills and experience and further develop their skillset.


Key responsibilities:

  • Check and input incoming invoices.
  • Ensure invoices are properly authorised and coded.
  • Query any discrepancies.
  • Prepare accruals.
  • Maintain files and records.
  • Pay suppliers and send remittances.
  • Pay suppliers and send remittances.
  • Fixed Assets, enter new assets depreciate and reconcile.
  • Sales Ledger reconciliation.
  • Pre-Payments, release entries and reconcile.
  • Purchase Ledger reconciliation
  • Intercompany reconciliation and agree to all other subsidiaries.
  • Adhoc duties as requested
As a minimum requirement, you will have 2-3 years' proven experience within a similar, fast-paced role. You will ideally be studying towards your AAT qualification. You must have excellent communication skills and possess a self-motivated attitude towards your work.

This role requires someone with a very keen eye for detail and the ability to work on their own initiative.
