Save the Children has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, customer focused individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships quickly to join us as a
part-time Supporter Care Advisor (3 days /21 hours).



_ Please note that due to the duties and nature of this work, the role will be based in our London-Farringdon office 3 days a week._

About you

Day to day In this role, you will:

  • Answer a wide range of enquiries about fundraising and our organisation
  • Take credit card donations and set up direct debits
  • Track and record all incoming and outgoing communications on a contacts database
  • Proactively resolving complaints in line with the complaints policy
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to increase supporter value and reduce attrition rates.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

  • A 'can do' attitude, proactively looking for ways to improve the support on offer and remove barriers that have the potential to hinder.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • An ability to build strong relationships with customers, and to crosssell additional ways of supporting with supporters
  • A passion for supporting and helping others.
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience of responding to enquiries via social media
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, manage own workload and multitask.

Ways of Working:


  • The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, _due to the duties and nature of this work, the role will be based in our London-Farringdon office 3 days a week._

Please note:
travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
