Conveyancing Assistant - Maternity Cover


Location:
Bath


Salary:
Up to £23,000. DOE


I am currently working with a leading Southwest law firm who are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Assistant to provide support to the Residential Property team in Bath.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality Conveyancingservices to clients.

This is what you'll be doing:

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will be the main point of contact for all clients, reporting to the Head of Residential Department & Business Development Manager.

You will ensure that all enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently and inline with theexceptional level of service that this firm is renowned for.


  • Completing standard letters and other relevant documents for clients
  • Assisting in the opening of client files and updating records onto the DMS
  • Undertaking work from exchange of contracts to completion, including billing and financial statements
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and promoting the firm's equality and diversity policy

The experience you'll bring to the team:

  • Experience in an administrative role in a legal service or property environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional client experience
  • Understanding of professional and regulatory obligations in the role
