Elmwood's are looking for a junior photographer to join our growing team, to assist the creative director and other photographers with daily tasks, including the styling, shooting and retouching of high quality images of luxury jewellery and watches.

Duties and responsibilities

• Photographing, exporting and focus stacking images of high end items of jewellery, watches and handbags tethered to capture one in accordance with company guidelines
• Retouching of images in photoshop to ensure that all media meets company standards
• Model photography of jewellery, watches and handbags for use alongside main stock images
• Creative photography for instagram and other social media
• Ensuring that the photography stock system is kept up to date on a daily basis
• Uploading photographs to company shared drive for director approval
• Preparing sets, checking that all equipment is fully functional, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily photography records
• Responsible for the care and upkeep of the studio, equipment, props and supplies

Skills

• Previous photography experience preferred with a natural inclination for product photography
• A meticulous eye for detail
• Strong photography and lighting skills
• A positive and professional attitude
• Basic knowledge of using capture one
• Basic knowledge of using photoshop (mask, levels, actions, clipping path)

Hours of work
A mix of four or five days per week including regular Saturdays.

Weekday hours are 9:00am-6:00pm

Saturday hours are 10:00am-4:00pm.

Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
