Shift Pattern; Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30


Job Purpose:

Support the warehouse team in providing a professional service for incoming goods, storage, and despatch.

Ensure speed and accuracy within the team, act as a point of contact for drivers, and handle all administrative tasks.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist Shift Supervisors and Warehouse Manager in efficient and timely administrative operations.
  • Provide administration support for all client accounts.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and hauliers regarding orders, stock levels, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound loads, manage booking slots.
  • Monitor systems for delivery, order, and inventory status, resolving issues and performing daily checks.
  • Ensure driver paperwork is completed promptly.
  • Accurately file Proof of Delivery (POD) paperwork.
  • Undertake additional administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are met.

Person Specification:


Qualifications and Training

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Essential)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a warehouse office (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of WMS and TMS systems (Desirable)

Skills and Aptitudes

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Essential)
  • Ability to improve existing processes (Essential)
  • Flexibility and adaptability (Essential)
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills (Essential)
