Job Introduction:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Signals Installer to join the team.

A Traffic Signals Installer is responsible for the installation and refurbishment of all traffic signals street equipment on all of our Circa 320 sites within the county of Lincolnshire and, will report to the Contract Supervisor.

Main Responsibility:

You will ensure that all works carried out on any site within Lincolnshire are undertaken with full regard for the safety of yourself, colleagues, contractors and, members of the public.

You will be responsible for the installation of traffic signals poles, cables, heads and, detection equipment to a high standard and, whilst achieving the customer's specifications.

You will support the supervisor with maintaining accurate site records by keeping copies of all delivery notes received from suppliers.

You will support all aspects of company H&S:
Near misses, incident reporting, investigations and reviewing of all traffic signals risk assessments and method statements. You will ensure you are aware of the project/site requirements by reviewing the drawings and specifications etc. supplied.

You will be required to carry out other appropriate duties as assigned by the line manager, which may fall in other locations where necessary.

Ideally, you will have experience working in a highway's environment. You will have basic electrical knowledge and, mechanical aptitude but this is not essential. What's more important is that you have a good attitude and aptitude towards the job. You will be willing to gain experience and understanding of the technical elements of Traffic Signals. You must be able to organise your own workload and to ensure efficiency. Having experience working in an outside environment during all seasons is essential. You will be self-motivated, be able to work on your own and be comfortable working at heights. A full UK driving license is required and you must be prepared to travel.
