IT Project Manager - Data

Hybrid - 2 days on site, South Yorkshire

Up to £45,000 DOE + benefits

Concept Resourcing are looking for a Project Manager on behalf of their client who provide multi-site network deployments.

You will be working for a company who put Health and Safety at the forefront of everything they do, their ongoing commitment winningthem prestigious awards for accident prevention.


Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will control the overall operational delivery of projects, such as multi-site IT roll outs, data centre design, and build and Structured cabling design and implementation.

These will be inclusive of the Health andSafety, Technical, Commercial and Managerial requirements, from bid, pre-commencement to practical completion. Ensuring that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership.

As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Delivery
  • To manage all related activities to the successful completion of the projects. In line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints.


  • Team Leadership

  • To provide leadership for the project delivery team and to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within.


  • Business Processes

  • Ensure adherence to all policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Health and Safety demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout any activities carried out.


  • Compliance

  • Ensure under direction, all works comply with Company standards and to meet and exceed client expectations, as well as the requirements to meet/exceed international standards and manufacturers installation guideline systems.


  • Bid Activity

  • To participate within bid activity as requested by the senior management and to work in conjunction with the Business Development team.
  • Business Planning and Budgeting
  • Provide input in the preparation of the business plans and budgets accurately


  • Monthly Reviews

  • Provide appropriate input to all monthly reviews in line with the business procedures


  • Relationships with Customers

  • Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with the customer through efficient delivery of projects


  • Technical

  • Ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.
You will be an experienced Project Manager with excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain professional working relationships at all levels you will also be:

  • Forward thinking
  • identify relevant milestones associated with a long-term project. Plan the sequence of key events.
  • Results focused ensure other achieve objectives. Set clear performance standards of other and guide them
  • Analytical thinker must be able to identify and define problems, extract key information, and develop workable solutions
  • The ability to use initiative to generate ideas for new ways of working.
  • UKATA (CAT A) Asbestos Awareness
  • CSCS (or ECS) Card for Managers
  • Project Management Certification preferably CTPM, APM or Prince
  • SMSTS or equivalent

  • First Aid at Work, NPPV Vetting and DBS
