Aurora Quality Care is CQC registered care agency.

We are looking for a home care support worker to help with our clients living in their own home around Barnet area.

Approx 20 hours per week


Job Types:
Freelance, Zero hours contract


Salary:
from £12.00 per hour

Working shifts from 07:30am


Requirements:

Satisfactory DBS and references

Right to work within the UK

Full clean valid driver's license and own transport

Caring, professional, compassionate and reliable

Experience preferred

Driving plus car is essential.

Living within Barnet area (preferred)

A good level of English, both verbally and in writing

Ability to follow instructions and care plans

Empathy and consideration

Care Certificate and Health and Social Care NVQ desirable but not essential


Main responsibilities:

To assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.

To administer medication as required

Helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.

Light cleaning tasks

To report concerns to the office

To communicate well, verbally and written

To understand and follow policies and procedures

To work as part of a team

A willingness to learn and adapt to change.
