DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the Electrical workshop team to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Monitor the quality of work completed by the team to ensure that it meets the required standards.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure that the necessary parts and equipment are available when required.
Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Provide regular reports to the Principal Electrical Engineer on the progress of work and any issues that arise.
Ensure quality procedures are adhered to, raise NCR's and maintain material tractability throughout manufacturing process.
Attend Production meetings when required.
Assist in the preparation of the Electrical workshop annual equipment budget.
Participate in interview process and make recommendations on prospective recruits.
Ensure that the Electrical workshop has effective control of personnel including implementation of Company policies regarding time keeping holiday planning.
Travel required as dictated by project needs (worldwide travel).

QUALIFICATIONS:

HNC or similar in Electrical (essential).
City & Guilds accredited training course (essential).
HND or above (desirable).

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a similar position (essential).
Experience of working on electrical systems and equipment (essential).
Test & troubleshoot electromechanical system (essential).
Working knowledge within a manufacturing environment (essential).

Working knowledge of many of the following:

The Energy Industry and operations, specifically Wireline Intervention and completion methods (desirable).
Wireline winches, masts and associated products (desirable).
Experience in managing and leading a team (desirable).

SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:

Valid CompEx Ex0104 (essential).
Completed recognized apprenticeship in an electrical field (essential).
IECEx and Norsok (desirable).
