Overview


As a Trainee Consultant within Operam Education Group, you will work towards running a profitable, efficient desk whilst operating as a part of the wider business team.

You will work for First For Education, one of the arms of OPERAM.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will be trained in becoming a first-class Headhunter.

Elements of the role will include:

  • Meeting with clients and understanding their businesses, culture and requirements
  • Creation of detailed job descriptions
  • Building and maintaining company databases
  • Meet and network with relevant professionals within the markets we operate in, this could involve meeting someone for lunch, attending networking events or attending a company golf day for example

Entry requirements

  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and in line with the company values.
  • Be selfmotivated and target driven with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Through effective communication you will be responsible for delivering outcomes
  • Be proactive and commercially astute.
  • Possess excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the education market, understanding the regulated requirements within this market including but not limited to safeguarding and DBS policy and procedures.

Training to be provided - Sales Apprenticeship


A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service.

They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation.

They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.


A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation's capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.

£16,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
