Qualifications:
Mandatory ‐ FA Level 2
Desirable - UEFA B License or working towards
Experience:
Working within a high level club environment.
Developing and progressing players from youth to adult football.
Excellent tactical and technical knowledge of playing positions.
Ability to deliver and communicate training sessions that have a high impact in a short period of time.
Location:
Varies between Newbury College, Henwick Worthy Sports Ground, Hungerford Town FC & John O'Gaunt School

Purpose and Scope:
To be responsible for the implementation of the Academy's position specific performance programme, working closely with all staff members to unsure outstanding standards are maintained.
To assist on matchdays, observe and make notes on areas for development amongst individuals and units of players.Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Academy's Position Specific Programme with the U'19's
- All administration relating to Individual Learning Plans
- Guiding the development of the Procision Newbury/Hungerford Town Football Philosophy. Monitoring and evaluating the coaching process
- Producing and preparing the Position Specific syllabus and scheme of work with the Academy Director and Head Coach to meet team and individual player's needs.
- Maintaining excellent communication with parents, player's and other coaches.
- Attending two Player & Parent Evenings per season.
- Ensuring all player appraisals cover all dimensions of performance and potential across the four corner model of development by monitoring these reports and keeping players and staff updated.
- Attending In‐Service training that is provided by PFA and it's partners.
- Providing all necessary assistance to the head of education to promote high standards and discipline within the Academy.
- Ensuring that all standards of time keeping / dress / conduct / coaching standards / equipment / management are appropriate for the requirements of the Academy Programme.
- Attending all Academy sessions throughout the week and ensuring that appropriate standards are being met in all aspects. To attend matches, observe and advise on the creation of an outstanding learning environment.
- Assist with the daily minibus shuttle service to and from training.
- Maintain the PFA minibus to a high standard ensuring it is fuelled, clean and safe working condition. Any problems to be reported to the Academy Manager immediately.
