You're Profile -PROJECT MANAGER

As theProject Manager you will have a proven track record of delivering best practice for operational standards. Experience of equipment such as heavy plant, materials handling, and gantry cranes would be advantageous.

Experience of working within the steelmanufacturing, paper manufacturing or heavy engineering sector would be a good fit for this role.

Professionally registered MIMechE, MIET, MIEEE or equivalent. Being proficient in AutoCAD would also be required to support the design projects
Must be willing to travel abroad

The Role -PROJECT MANAGER

As the Project manager you will be responsible for providing operational support and engineering support for all new sites and factories across the world

You will be working closing with the customer on all sites to

  • Implement operational standards and develop a framework to be deployed to all sites existing and new
  • Assist in continuous improvements
  • Manage project teams to deliver the set operational standards
  • Support commercial enquiries and procurement of sites into the business
  • Standardise operational activities and ensure that this is delivered to all sites to support all operations to run effectively
  • Multiple projects to manage
  • Continually look at how to improve performance of the operations
  • RCA/5S/Lean
  • Reliability engineering and condition monitoring will be a key part of the role so experience in this area would be a benefit
  • Experience of AutoCAD or similar package to support the engineering function
