Finance Manager £55,000 + bonus, 8% pension, life assurance, private medical care, enhanced maternity/paternity leave and holidays. Salford Quays / Hybrid This role would suit a 'hands on' qualified accountant who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. This a business is constantly evolving and growing and that has quadrupled in turnover over the last 2 years. Due to a new acquisition this fresh andmodern business has created a brand-new role for an experienced Finance Manager to make their mark on and lead 2 members of staff. This is an opportunity where you really can make an impact and be as innovative as you like

There's lots to do and reporting to the Head of Finance some of the responsibilities will include the production of the quarterly consolidated accounts, assisting in the preparation of the financial reporting pack for the board, overseeing the monthly payrollprocess, statutory reporting, ownership of the weekly cash flow forecast, and responsibility for managing the short-term and long-term cash requirements, preparation of the year-end audit and key point of contact for external auditors, assisting in preparingdetailed annual budgets, assisting with the roll out of a new company system and much more

This is a business that is moving from small SME to a much larger one and you'll need to be hands-on and have the ability to stand back and see the bigger picture.

Ideally you are already a qualified accountant, but this isn't a most and even better if youhave experience within the construction and/or property industry.
