    Job Title: Risk Manager

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Risk Manager to support risk management within our programme, ensuring compliance with the risk management framework and proactively helping safeguard the programme from significant overruns.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Risk Register Management: Developing and managing Programme Risk Registers, including identifying and creating risk mitigation and action plans.
    • Risk Analysis: Conducting Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) on the Integrated Works Schedule and advising Programme Directors on key risk areas to facilitate mitigation actions.
    • Risk Workshops: Organising and facilitating workshops with large groups of Project Managers to ensure all risks are captured, as well as developing and facilitating risk workshops and reviews with stakeholders.
    • Risk Management Software: Managing specialist Risk Management Software and ensuring its effective use across the programme.
    • Reporting: Producing accurate and timely periodic risk update reports for programme management, including maintaining the project's risk registers through the risk database.
    • Culture Development: Promoting and embedding a risk management culture by conducting training and offering guidance to improve competency across the PMO & Programmes.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Facilitation Skills: Strong facilitation skills, able to independently lead workshops within the programme.
    • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, capable of independently delivering QRAs, covering Cost QRAs and Schedule QRAs.
    • Engagement Skills: Excellent engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of professionals from both project and corporate teams.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
