As well as the Gastroenterology department offering the full range of inpatient, outpatient and endoscopy services to the local community, St Georges Hospital is also a national endoscopy training centre and the SW London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre, the SW London regional centre for intestinal failure and HPN, and the regional hub for viral hepatitis.

The Department is also supported at a clinical level by specialist nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, nurse endoscopists, clinical SpRs, research SpRs and a physician associate.

The postholder will be a core member of the Gastroenterology team helping to deliver and develop the inpatient service, in conjunction with the staff members listed above.
