Working as a Medical Recruitment Co-Ordinator for the Cancer & Surgery Clinical Group, you will lead on Medical Recruitment vacancies for the directorates and be the main contact for any recruitment issues, queries or needs.

The post holder will advise on Medical Recruitment issues for the Trust in accordance with the Service Level Agreements, and will have responsibility and supervision of a Medical Recruitment Assistant to provide a comprehensive and high quality Medical Recruitment service and support function.
The post holder will co-ordinate the recruitment campaigns for all Consultant, Specialty Doctor and Trust Grade medical posts, and will be involved in Certificate of Sponsorship requests, MTI and GMC registration processes.
The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating AAC's.The Medical Workforce Team is part of the Trust's HR Support Services within the Workforce Department.
The Team provide specialist Medical and Dental recruitment advice, campaign and selection management in order to support a flexible and cost effective workforce.
Commercially competitive and focusing upon service level delivery the team is a center of excellence for best practice recruitment.
Responsible for effectively co-ordinating recruitment campaign activities such as ensuring on-time delivery of longlisting, shortlisting, interview activities and effective communication throughout with applicants and hiring managers.
Responsible for provision of information, advice and coaching to hiring managers regarding recruitment and assessment centre activities and to provide support with assessment centre planning and implementation.
Ensure the on time provision of interview packs and sufficient materials to successfully run interviews assessment centres.
Ensure that all pre-employment checks are carried out to Trust standards specifically (e.g. Identity verification, DBS/ISA registration, statutory registration, Occupational Health, references and all other pre-employment checks for permanent staff).
Carry out a range of administrative duties that are commensurate with the grade to support other areas of the team including (but not restricted to) fulfilment, data entry, scanning, indexing, following up pre-employment checks, request IAT to issue the conditional and final contract.
