Finance Assistant

Salary Banding:
£21,840 - £23,000 dependant on skills and experience

Location:
Itec House, Penarth Road.

Contract type:
Full-time, permanent.

Working hours:35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m.4.30 p.m.

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

Support with maintaining the purchase ledger ensuring that accurate and up to date information is available at all times.
Provide support to internal staff and external customers answering financial queries in a timely manner.
Support with processing monthly JGW+ support cost declaration.
Processing and reconciliation of JGW+ employer wage subsidy payments
Support with monthly bank reconciliations (Current, Interest, Credit Card, and Petty Cash)
Processing staff mileage and expenses claims
Support with credit chasing for commercial training.
To support the finance team with carrying out regular departmental audits
Support with processing of weekly learner payments across all contracts as required.
To support the finance team with the daytoday accounting functions
To support the Finance Manager and colleagues, as required in all aspects of the finance departments duties.
