Futures are working with an industry leading engineering business who are looking to appoint an additional Sales Engineer in a new role for the business.

Our client provides a technical product and services to a large client base ranging from the largestblue chips through to start-up SMEs within engineering and manufacturing.

They are looking for a Sales Engineer to maintain and develop existing accounts alongside the account manager and drive new business sales alongside the business development managers.

You will be the voice of the engineers in the sales meetings so an engineering qualification is a must.

The successful Sales Engineer must have at least three years in a sales focused role where you have sold a technical product.

You will be joining a wellrenowned market leader who are offering a competitive salary, car allowance and commission.

Sales Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Technical Sales / Sales / Business Development / Engineering / Manufacturing

  • Selling Engineering Solutions into various manufacturing sectors
  • Account Management for multiple customers
  • Build strong, longlasting relationships with your clients, creating a "partnership" approach
  • Dealing with new enquiries, acting as a link between customers and engineers
  • Develop proposals and quotes, which exceed customer's expectations, and can be delivered efficiently by the engineering team
  • Delivering account growth

Sales Engineer - Skills and Experience - Technical Sales / Sales / Business Development / Engineering / Manufacturing

  • An engineering qualification
  • Experience selling a technically engineered product
  • Prior experience working closely with R&D teams
  • A UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
