We're looking for an in house cleaning operative / housekeeper to join our small team, older applicants are very welcome to apply

The location is central London, the venue is a small restaurant with a private club bellow

Mostly open Weds to Saturday 6pm - 6am so cleaning duties would be outside of these opening hours

The business is based on our amazing restaurant, the club is community focused with a fine attention to detail to art and sound, which is why we're looking for someone that can help uphold our high standards by looking after our unique venue

A usual cleaning schedule would be start after the venue has closed but the start times in the mornings can be a little flexible, between 7am - 10am with an 8 hour shift ending at 6pm latest as we will reopen soon after.

• Monday OR Tuesdays deep cleaning with a routine or specific requests the venue is usually closed these days so the hours can be flexible. There's a possibility of some other tasks such as logging lost property, collecting or taking something from our local storage unit, potentially giving that back to a guest to collect, an errand to the local post office etc
• Wednesday would be much the same as above or could be taken off if someone would prefer to work both Monday & Tuesday, if not Wednesday would be much the same but the venue opens at 6pm
• Thursday, light cleaning duties as Wednesday's are usually just restaurant
• Friday cleaning after Thursday night Club & Restaurant
• Saturday cleaning after Friday night club & Restaurant
• Sunday cleaning after Saturday night club & restaurant, Sundays we're almost always closed so again, very flexible start times
• Occasionally the venue is open other days, on average once or twice a month

Cleaning duties would not include the kitchen, it would include the reception, the restaraunt, the club, bathrooms and stairs, other duties would sometimes include

Mananging lost property

Comunicating any faults or repairs

Small errands

Sending a list of cleaning products or cleaning equipment that needs to be reordered

Appointments with engineers / Maintence company

The position is for someone flexible and friendly with a keen eye for attention to detail

Most of the hours will be working alone whilst the venue is empty, most communiation on duties and weekly schedule would be sent via WhatsApp

On days we're open any employee would be welcome to stay for staff food or take some home, usually served at - 6:30 pm

All Employees are on company payroll and paid monthly

Fluent English and experience is essential
