IN2Consult are working with a pharmaceutical company based in the Hemel Hempstead area who are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a one year FTC.
This is a role with a very flexible approach to hybrid working, you will only need to visitthe office once per week.
In addition to this, there are very good public transport links & there is free, on-site parking. Additionally, they are willing to pay up to £50,000 pa. There is a chance, at the end of this contract that there will be a permanentposition available. However, it does depend on the amount of work in the closing stages of 2023.Please see below the responsibilities -
Responsibilities:
- Preparing global payroll data for payroll processing by third party payroll administration partners ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payrolls.
- Verify timekeeping records and consult managers/employees about any discrepancies.
- Daytoday data entry, data corrections, mass upload etc.
- Performing audits and validations of payroll transactions.
- Ensure timely preparation, processing, maintenance and appropriate distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year end reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
- Payroll issues are escalated and resolved with root cause analysis and corrective action for all levels of employees and management, with a focus on ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience in partnership with HR Shared Services. This role isresponsible for daytoday oversight for issues and positive seamless.
- Monitoring changing business, regulatory and financial requirements.
- Identify and drive continuous performance improvement projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity and / or employee satisfaction.
- Ensure endtoend processes are wellthought out to address customer and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere and recommend best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for department.
- Adherence to approved SLAs.
- Perform payroll execution in accordance with all company, country, federal, state, local and other applicable compliance requirements.
- Supporting Payroll Shared Services Team & Manager with execution of daytoday duties.
- Participate in ongoing vendor internal process improvement.
