Acorn Technology is working with a leading Public Sector body in Wales to find an experienced and talented Project Manager to supplement an already talented Project & Change team.
Main duties:
- Full lifecycle (end to end) delivery of projects
- Maintaining the MS project programme and project plan, including running planning sessions to ensure the plan contains the most accurate information with dependencies identified within the plan and tasks linked accordingly
- Risks are identified against activity within the plan
- Provide leadership to the project team ensure direction and scope detailed within the business case is maintained
- Provide project reports that contains information relating to project performance and forecast completion of activities in relation to time and cost
- Work with resource owners to provide solutions to project forward demand
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience of delivering high value, complex projects, and programmes
- Indepth knowledge of project management principles and PM software (such as MS project and risk management)
- Expertise in creating and managing a variety of project management artefacts such as detailed Gantt, POAP, Level 0 plan, Milestone tracker
- Outstanding stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills
- Experience of delivering in IT or Business Change environments
- Experience of delivering projects within a variety of governance structures and ensuring effective change management processes are in place to agree and document proposed changes to the programme plan to the programme manager
