MPA are currently recruiting for Relief Support Workers to join our experienced team in the Antrim and Ballymena areas. This position will be based in a Supported Living Scheme with an immediate start and flexible working hours available. The pay rate is £11.11 to 18.78 per hour depending on shift worked. The role will involve working closely with learning and physical disabilities to provide a high standard of care.

Role Responsibilities

Ensure tenants receive support to develop skills and attitudes, in achieving the outcomes of their Personal Centred Plans.
To support tenants with personal care, as appropriate, medication needs and access to relevant health care.
To support tenants in cooking, cleaning, gardening, laundry, ironing, and household tasks to an appropriate standard.
To support tenants in a range of leisure activities and services according to individual choice.
To carry out daily living tasks on behalf of tenants when they are unable to do so for themselves.
To be an effective advocate for each tenant and encourage selfadvocacy where possible.
To work such hours as necessary, which may include sleepin duties, working during weekends and/or Bank Holidays.

Essential Criteria.

6 months experience in similar role
NISCC registered or willingness to apply.
Willingness to complete training courses.
Willingness to complete Access NI checks.
