Are you a Humanities Teacher looking for a new role in Tooting Bec, Wandsworth?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a Medical Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Tooting Bec, Wandsworth starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year with a potentialto go permanent upon review. The position will be paid to scale.

The School:

The PRU is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated providing education for students aged between 5 to 18 years old who are experiencing severe or chronic illness, mental health issues and pregnant/young parents.

The school currently cater up to 40 students with somestudents holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has free parking on site and on local roads.

The Position:

You will be working as a Humanities Teacher providing high quality education at KS3 and KS4 level.

You will have to independently plan and deliver lessons to small classes of up to 10 students with a range of needs including severe or chronic illness, mentalhealth issues and pregnant/young parents.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
