Description

Butler Rose is working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business in East Devon to recruit a management accountant on a permanent basis.

This is very much a hybrid working role and there is a lot of flexibility around remote working as well as working patterns.

Reporting into the Finance Director, key duties will include:

Producing all information necessary for monthly management accounts including sales and product profitability analysis.
Using ERP system to carry out margin analysis, product analysis and costings
Working closely with the production team
Overseeing daily sales and purchase invoices
Processing weekly supplier payment runs
Balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare variance analysis to forecasts.
VAT reconciliations, preparation of monthly VAT returns
Attending monthly business unit meetings to report on finance by department.
Overseeing the accounts assistant and providing support where needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACCA or qualified by experience Management Accountant who is able to ensure accurate and timely management information is provided at all times.

Experience within a manufacturing setting and knowledgeof ERP / MRP systems is highly desirable but not essential.
