£20,241 annual salary + company benefits

We are looking to expand our internal Simplicity Cremations Client Account team and are seeking a Client Account Advisor to join the Dignity family on a full-time basis to assist with delivering outstanding service to our clients.

What will I be doing as a Client Account Advisor?


As a Client Account Advisor, you will be overseeing the funeral service arrangements for a variety of clients for Simplicity Cremations.

This will incorporate you taking first-line calls from clients, tailoring funeral arrangements as well as liaising and coordinating internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of funerals.

This is a very client-focused role, that will require a person with strong people skills and the ability to build rapport well with customers.


Other duties will include:

  • Liaise with Funeral Operations and Crematoria internally to coordinate logistics and funeral service details on behalf of clients
  • Support clients in arranging coffins, urns, floral tributes, music arrangements and visual media (webcasts, visual tributes and recordings)
  • Engage with internal and external customers professionally and confidently through different media platforms
  • Completing statutory cremation paperwork with clients
  • Acting as a point of contact for all client's queries and needs throughout the funeral arranging process
  • Monitor and facilitate safe and timely delivery of ashes to client

What Do I Need?

  • Has worked within an administrative/customerfocused industry previously
  • Excellent customer service skills (including questioning & listening skills with external customers, providing efficiency and empathy through calls)
  • Adaptable approach to meet client needs (e.g. sensitivity, patience, friendliness, compassion and efficiency)
  • Excellent telephone skills, including the use of techniques such as questioning skills and paraphrasing to ensure effective communication
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent PC skills, especially: in Excel, Access, and Outlook
