Description

TriSearch Solutions Ltd are representing a respectable care home in the Cross Hands area and are seeking 2x care assistants in the Cross Hands community.

Duties:


  • Provide compassionate care and support for residents in a care home in Cross Hands.
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Maintain detailed care records to ensure a personalised approach for each resident.
  • Aid in mobility and transfers, prioritising resident safety.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and kitchen tasks to uphold a clean and comfortable living space.

Experience:


  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced caregiving techniques, especially in elderly care.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patience, with the ability to handle residents with dementia and challenging behaviour.
