Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting the admin team, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the team and other stakeholders.
- Monitor team workload and coordinate training activities to minimise resource concerns.
- Deliver training and mentoring established staff on processes and procedures.
- Schedule staff and annual leave to adequately cover operational requirements.
- Communicate policy changes to team when required.
- Ensuring that all administrative tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, including patient registration, appointment booking, and medical records management.
- Liaising with the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager to ensure that all administrative processes are aligned with the practice's strategic objectives.
- Monitoring and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new administrative processes and systems to improve efficiency and patient care.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Analyse administrative protocols to identify and mitigate potential risk.
- Facilitate smooth information transfers between clinical and admin staff, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with NHS guidelines and regulations, including data protection and patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting preferable but not essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Sound knowledge of administrative processes within a healthcare setting.
- A commitment to providing highquality patient care and customer service.
- Knowledge of NHS guidelines and regulations, including data protection and patient confidentiality.

- Full-time Salary - 37.5h/w
- Annual Leave - 30 days + BH
- Probation - 6 months
Salary:
From £12.27 per hour

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
