Introduction:


This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week spent at home and 3 days per week onsite You will also be offered the opportunity to compress your hours into a nine-day fortnight, meaning you can have every other Friday off.

My client is is an exciting and growing UK technology company. They work in partnership with UK government customers and commercial providers to deliver research, technology, products, and services in the secure communications sector.

They are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to work alongside the Service Delivery team to identify, triage and respond to attacks that could cause harm to the business and their clients.

Key responsibilities:


  • Cyber risk awareness.
  • Undertake vulnerability analysts.
  • Carry out preincident planning and preparation.
  • Support technical changes.
  • Monitor and analyse any potentially malicious activity.
  • Conduct security incident investigations.
  • Use TTP (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) to perform effective triage.

Skills & experience:


  • Demonstratable Cyber Security experience.
  • Good working knowledge of
    Linux.
  • Certified in
    CISSP or
    SANS (or similar).
  • Knowledge of security standards in
    ISO 27001 / NIST.
  • Experience in ticketing systems (
    ITSM, Freshdesk, Jira).
  • Experience in knowledge systems (
    Confluence, SharePoint).

ITIL certified or working knowledge.
