Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts; as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area we are currently looking for a Year 6 Teacher in Potters Bar.

The role isa full time with the contract initially lasting until the Easter break but, at the discretion of the school, the contract may be extended further.

The school are ideally looking for someone who can start immediately but there is some flexibility with this.

The position is at a two form entry school, rated "GOOD" by OFSTED and prides itself on offering a dynamic and engaging environment for its students.

Role:

Strong knowledge of the curriculum in at Key Stage
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons
Willingness to comply with the schools' policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
Recent mainstream schoolbased experience teaching in a Primary School
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
Experience working with SEND is desirable
