The Role


We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator with excellent communication skills and a great work ethic to join our team.

You will be a competent individual with a good eye for detail. It would be advantageous if you are familiar with the requirements of the ISO standard quality system or similar.


Your main aim is to ensure that you assist in the smooth running of internal and external customer services and assist within the Laboratory as and when required.


The Key Responsibilities include:


  • Receiving and acting upon all incoming calls to the Company
  • Dealing with enquiries and passing on complaints and queries as necessary
  • Updating customer records in the company system, including notes about any interactions
  • Developing a rapport with our customers & your colleagues
  • Ensuring that all samples received are logged into the system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Supporting to ensure the laboratories, stock rooms and associated areas (and all equipment within) are clean and properly maintained and that all samples are stored correctly and clearly.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness within the Laboratory and Office areas.
  • Adhering to confidential practices and compliance with GDPR/H&S/Quality
  • Ensuring that all statutory and legal requirements are adhered to
  • Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that training records are kept up to date
  • Attending meetings, training sessions and departmental audits as required
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality within the department at all times

Requirements:

You will be able to demonstrate excellent literacy skills and be familiar with Quality systems. Computer literate, you will have a high attention to detail and a commitment to being organised and methodical.

Whilst able to be self-motivated, you will be a team player and able to prove confident communication and interpersonal skills.

You will have a good general standard of education. Experience of working within a Laboratory would be beneficial though not essential.

In return we will offer you an excellent rate of pay and 25 days annual leave. There will be a probationary period of up to 6 months.

You will be expected to make yourself available for work between the hours of 8am - 8pm for a 35-hour week rota pattern.
