Production Team Leader

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

To manage and organise the operatives in their area of responsibility (stores or production)
Ensures all equipment operates to the correct standards and all tasks are carried out effectively.
To ensure the operatives comply with all Company standards when working (Health and Safety, hygiene, etc).
To ensure everyone in the area of responsibility knows what is expected of them in their role and has received the appropriate training.
To lead and organize the Production to maintain the through flow of work to satisfy customer requirements, on time, in full.
Ensures quality standards and a focus on customer service are maintained in their area.
Works closely with the other Team Leaders to ensure efficient use of stock and labour through the operation.

Takes responsibility and accountability for resolving all issues in their area. Escalates to the senior management as required.
Has the ability to remain calm and positive in a demanding environment.
Promotes a team environment to deliver results. Demonstrates good organisation skills and flexibility in the role.
Maintains all standards (eg, Health and Safety, hygiene, uniform, PPE, behaviour, etc).
Ensures that the teams maintain the appropriate standards of housekeeping and hygiene for the equipment and work areas in their area of responsibility.
