Powder Painter

Working within an established, growing market leading manufacturer.
Fixed day shift position.
Varied hands on position within a modern facility.

We are seeking an experienced Powder Painter or Engineering Operative who is capable of using tools and working to high quality standards.

Salary & Package:
£13.00 to £13.50 per hour. Pension 5% personal contribution and 3% company contribution. 25 days holiday (increasing to 27 days after 5 years' service ) plus public holidays. Buy and sell holiday scheme. In-service life assurance of 3 x annual salary. Healthcare Cash Plan

The Powder Painter job will involve:

Perform required quality checks including 1st piece, in process and final inspections.
Load parts correctly onto line for maximum capacity / unload and palletize painted parts
Change hanging patterns as needed
Troubleshoot process as needed

This Powder Painter job will suit:

A good understanding of manufacturing and associated techniques (5S/Lean) or ability to learn quickly
Attention to detail. Capable of reading engineering drawings is a bonus.
Ability to multi task
Effective time management
Good communication skills
Ability to work on own or as part of a team
