We are searching for a technically adept professional with a deep understanding of cyber security practices. You excel at analysing complex technical environments and providing practical, effective security solutions. You are adept at conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation measures. Key Responsibilities:

Assessing your clients' needs and understanding how their needs are different to wants and managing clients' stakeholders' relationship appropriately.

Selecting, adopting, and adapting security control frameworks

Designing, justifying, and implementing security management strategies

Identifying risks and proposing proportionate controls

Ensuring security principles are applied during design and development to reduce risk.

Developing and communicating corporate information security policy, standards and guidelines.

Performing threat modelling and risk assessments to develop a holistic picture of threat.

Developing new architectures that mitigate emerging risks posed by new technologies and business practices.

Analyse and evaluate security architectures, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing remediation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security considerations are integrated into the development and deployment process.

Stay updated on emerging threats and trends in cyber security and proactively advise clients on potential impacts.

Draft and communicate technical security policies, standards, and guidelines.

Collaborate with clients on technical security improvements, providing expertise in risk mitigation and security enhancements.


Key Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in technical cyber security consulting or related roles.

Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices, technical security assessments, and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)

Relevant certifications in cyber security (e.g., OSCP, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

UK security clearance at SC or above, or willingness and eligibility to undergo clearance.
