The job in a nutshell


You will manage high-end, private customers (predominantly Cellar Plan) and assist them in the building of balanced and high-quality cellars specific to their needs.

Maximising sales potential and increased GP growth through relationship building, exceptionalcustomer service and demonstration of authority in wine knowledge, you will ensure that Berry Bros.

& Rudd standards are maintained to the highest level to optimise customer engagement, as well as delivering sales and GP targets.

Managing a portfolio of between active accounts, building sales to a total of £1,500,000+ a year. Current target of £180,000 GP per annum, through sales of En-Primeur and physical stock.

What you will do

  • Engage with allocated customers to ensure the highest levels of customer service and advice are given
  • Ensure agreed sales and gross profit targets are met or exceeded
  • Ensure regular and proactive contact with all customers
  • Attend and entertain customers at BB&R evening tastings and events. Ensure customer's needs are accommodated and promote BB&R's reputation through customer interaction
  • Provide comprehensive and highlevel after service to customers
