Description
We are seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our team for a 5-week shutdown project at Saltend, United Kingdom.

As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of piping systems within our industrial facility.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to a vital project in the energy sector.


Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using various hand and power tools
  • Assemble and install piping systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Inspect and test installed piping systems for leaks and other defects
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in Pipefitting
  • Valid CCNSG
  • MJI10
  • Pass a preemployment medical
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
