We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant / Technician to join a team of distinguished hospitality enthusiasts. The Hotel has recently reopened following a full hotel refurbishment. Our goal is to create the greatest golf hotel experience in the world.

This role is offered on a fixed term basis from April - September.


Key Responsibilities
We are specifically looking for an individual with domestic plumbing repairs experience who is comfortable with basic joinery, tiling, flooring, decorating and gardening


They will:

  • Respond promptly to requests for emergency repairs and cleanups
  • Carry out general building maintenance of both private and public areas
  • Complete regular statutory checks, assessments and preventative work
  • Manage multiple jobs prioritising them as required
  • Source and order parts and materials required to complete jobs
  • Liaise with housekeeping, reception, concierge and back of house teams
  • Oversee and support external contractors on site
  • Be involved in all aspects of hotel maintenance, both internally and externally

You Need

  • Construction Maintenance Operations NVQ Level 2, City Guilds or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in domestic DIY including fault finding, repairs and installations
  • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trades
  • Demonstrate understanding of HS standards, and regulations for this role
  • Work in a small team with a shared responsibility to achieve team goals
  • Friendly and approachable with great communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Deliver empathic guest service every time
