About the team we are recruiting to

We value diverse perspectives and experiences and are striving to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, is accepting of all and is free from discrimination and bias.

The Education Entitlement Service (EES) strives to deliver outstanding services for our customers, predominately the children of Coventry, who may be requiring access to education or alternative education provision.

We ensure vulnerable children are appropriately supported; have a voice, that hopefully leads to their high achievement and excellent progress.

The Hospital Education Service (HES) provides education for pupils from age 4-16 years, some of whom are taught on the Children's Ward within the local large general hospital; others aged 11-16 years are taught at Whitmore Park Annexe or on home tuition.

What is the job role?

  • Via the Extended School Non-Attendance Advisory Panel (ESNAAP).

The role is to supervise and support the teaching, and related activities, of individuals or groups of pupils to facilitate their learning as well as their social and emotional development.

If you would like to visit the hospital school prior to, or after applying, please contact Liz Morsehead on on a Thursday or Friday.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
