Project Support Executive, Global's Make Some Noise


We are Global's Make Some Noise - the official charity of Global, the Media & Entertainment Group
Global's Make Some Noise is a national charity that improves the lives of disadvantaged people across the UK. We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, feel well, feel included and feel prepared.

We work across four key areas:
providing shelter and safety, supporting physical and mental health, preventing isolation and improving life skills.


We harness the power and reach of Global, the Media & Entertainment Group to raise money and awareness for small and local charities across the UK that are supporting disadvantaged people in our communities.


Reporting of the role:

This role reports to the Senior Fundraising Campaign Executive.


Salary:


Guide Salary:
circa £25k, depending upon experience.

Measures of success -

In the first few months, you would have:

  • Provided crucial support to campaigns and projects being delivered across the team such as presenter-led challenges, partnership activations, and on-air competitions.
  • Supported the team throughout the Make Some Noise appeal, working across a range of fundraising activities such as prizes, products, donations and events.
  • Proactively researched and pitched new fundraising opportunities to the team.
  • Supported the partnerships team through undertaking a prospecting research project, updated reporting sheets and created PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities of the role:


  • Support a variety of fundraising campaigns across the charity team, as needed.
  • Take ownership of specific fundraising activities, budgets and targets.
  • Assist with data and the daytoday running of the charity's key processes.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained on our fundraising databases and assist with account administration.
  • Provide support to the Partnerships team, including implementation of activities, help with commercial pitches, research projects etc.
  • Contribute to achieving assigned budgets and KPIs.

What will you need:

Background: Previous charity fundraising or partnerships experience is an advantage.

Planning: You'll be highly organised, with proven experience of working under pressure, often to tight deadlines.

Prioritisation: You'll be used to managing multiple projects that are running on different timelines and have the confidence in managing your time to ensure that you prioritise work in the most efficient way.

Systems: Ideally, you'll have experience using online fundraising platforms or will be quick to adapt to new platforms.

Writing: You'll be confident in writing with a high standard of literacy with strong attention to detail.

Learning: You'll have a desire for continuous learning of the best fundraising practice.

Numeracy: Strong numeracy with experience of using Excel.

Proactivity: A proactive thinker, always looking to spot opportunities and using your initiative to spot issues before they occur.

Team player: We're looking for an encouraging, hard-working and proactive team member with a 'can do' demeanour and tenacity to see projects through to the end.
