About The Role:
We are looking for two people, to work part time in a job share 3 days a week each to assist in the provision of the best quality of education for a child and create a BSL friendly environment on a long-term basis.
- Has an understanding of hearing loss and the impact on learning development. Has a knowledge of audiological equipment such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and radio aids
- An awareness and understanding of the range of communication needs or modes that children/young people may require or choose
- Is a good communicator with families, children, young people and other professionals
- Has enthusiasm for supporting every child/young person achieve their full potential in all educational settings or environments.
- Has excellent time management, organisational and ICT skills
- Is a proven hardworking, proactive, reliable individual who can take direction and have the capacity to work under pressure
Further Information:
The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
