SUMMARY


This position plays a significant role in ensuring that

Highly visible, engaging and proactive role, focused on creating a world-class HR service to approx. c.170 Managers and colleagues.

An MCIPD professionally qualified Practitioner; well versed in the design, delivery and execution of HR policy, best practice and development for the HR function and broader business.


Key areas of focus include; seamlessly aligning best practice and relevant legislation to the development and implementation of HR solutions, acting as a trusted Advisor to key leaders and Stakeholders in Landmark and deputising for the HR Director as required.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with respective client group to deploy and execute a culture of inclusion and progression through policy, procedure, advice and decision making.
  • Forge strong partnerships with the leadership team as a credible source of advice and knowledge, take the lead in case management for all aspects of employee relations including complex, discriminatory and dismissals matters, ensuring compliance with best practice and relevant employment legislation escalating to HRD as appropriate.
  • Contribute towards the development and execution of the People Plan, owning and delivering against individual projects specified within, such as Diversity and Inclusion, Engagement, Development, etc.
  • Act as a Change Agent, driving cultural change and progression, researching, benchmarking and implementing best in class solutions for managers, colleagues and peers.
  • Supervise and mentor the HR Assistant, supporting their development and covering their main duties in their absence.
  • Challenge the status quo; generate a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency, networking externally within the industry and beyond to drive the business forward.
  • Develop analytics to influence broader business decisions and interventions, specifically in relation to Benefits, Occupational Health and Great Places to Work.
  • Design, develop and roll out colleague engagement initiatives to improve and sustain high levels of colleague participation, performance and discretionary effort.
  • Participate in the research, design and development of policy and procedure which drive and impact long term decisions and strategy developing training interventions and communication plans to upskill managers
  • Manage the relationship and budget for our external HR best practice and Occupational Health partners (c.10k)

Essential

  • Positive, resourceful, resilient, engaging, challenging and ingratiating in style with the ability to flex and influence key stakeholders
  • MCIPD Qualified
  • Extensive HR generalist experience (at least 35 years at HR Management/BP level), particularly in respect of employee relations and employment legislation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HR databases for producing Management Information
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of developing and implementing policies

  • Experience of working in retail, hospitality, serviced offices, manufacturing or some other Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
