Smart Education are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to have the opportunity to work in one of our Special Needs schools in Worcestershire.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that can also teach Construction a couple of days each week.
Webuild great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children in Key Stages 3 and 4 who have been Permanently Excluded from mainstream settings.

Many of the students have Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs(SEMH).


The successful Teaching Assistant will be level 2 or 3 qualified and own a calm, patient, and caring persona, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

You must have experience of working with children who have challenging behaviour and have the knowledge to teach construction.


Qualifications Required:6+ Months minimum experience.


Salary:
£80 (TA) £120 (Teaching)

Monday to Friday
