An opportunity has arisen for a
System Administrator to join our team based in East London, UK and be part of one of our largest projects.


Location:
East London E14, UK


Salary:
£38,000 - £45,000


Shift:
Monday-Friday plus On Call Working


Main Responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance of the systems across the different locations.
  • Routine maintenance (log analysis, log rotation, etc.)
  • Corrective maintenance in the event of any issue.
  • Managing IT assets and IT resource allocations.
  • Support on documentation for new IT projects as they arise.

Engineering Background: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

  • Previous experience with IT Support

Proficieny using Unix/Linux

  • Strong
    analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Understanding of
    security best practices and confidentiality

Team-player, patient, with good communication skills
-
Organised and
efficient

As a plus, is highly desirable:

  • Familiar with basic object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
  • JavaScript (strong bonus)
  • Oracle, AWS, PHP, HTML, CSS

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
