Cambridgeshire - Optical Assembly Technician - Electronics
My client are leaders in electronics and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of their products and systems. They are looking for an Optical Assembly Technician to join their team.


Main Duties:


  • Building and testing fibre optic subassemblies and systems
  • Improving product designs to improve the manufacturing process
  • Developing new processes to improve efficiency or product quality
  • Advising on the selection of new components or new test methodology
  • Writing assembly and test reports and contributing to the technical file

Key Skills and Experience:


  • Strong electronic assembly experience
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver to completion, within agreed timescales
  • Desirable: experience of working with optical or fibre optic devices and familiarity with Linux operation system
**The salary for the position is open depending on experience.
