Production Operator_

Split Shift:
Early Shift 6am to 2pm / Late Shift 2pm to 10pm on a 2-week rotation

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Pay:
£10.63 an hour plus shift allowance

Based at:
VacSax Ltd, Langage Science Park, Plymouth.

Job purpose:_

To produce quality components for use in the manufacture of Vacsax finished products.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing job orders.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition
Work under the guidance of the Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Contribute to waste management programs.
Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
Responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs.
Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the company's organisational structure.
Maintaining high level of timekeeping/attendance is of the essence
