Joining the Design and Manufacturing team and reporting to Head of Design & Manufacture, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for creating prototypes for Bramble Energy's Fuel Cell Technology.

This is a hands on practical role operating our manufacturing equipment.


Job Description:


Principal Accountabilities

  • In house 3D printing with use of known know 3D printing machines
  • Laser cutting
  • Milling Machining, using Doosan machines running on a Fanuc control
  • Working with Baty Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for quality control
  • Operation of pillar drill
  • Operation of ban saw
  • General equipment maintenance
  • CAM (generating tool paths and manufacturing times)
  • Potential to include quality check for other Fuel Cell parts

Person Specification

  • Safety conscious
  • Fast learner who is well informed on machinery and it's potential to cause harm
  • Open minded to new suggestions
  • Good state of physical fitness needed as this is a manual role

Qualifications:


  • Experience using 3 and 5 axis CNC machines
  • Experience running and programming CNC machines
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
