Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Lincolnshire for two Finance Technicians who will report to the Senior Finance Technician.

One role is to process sickness insurance claims, undertaking budget monitoring tasks,processing journals and assisting with the closure of accounts process.

The second role will involve system support / housekeeping as the authority moves to a new version of Business World (finance software) from April 202- Full job specification available_

  • Will have AAT membership, or working towards it.
  • Has detailed knowledge and understanding of principles of financial management, account principles and practice preferably in local authority.
  • Possesses good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with officers, external auditors and partners, including funding bodies and government departments and agencies, so as to secure their confidence and respect.
  • Confident ICT skills, including corporate finance systems (e.g. Agresso) and Excel.
