Description

This forward-thinking games studio is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst for an initial 3 to 6 month contract.

The role can be worked fully remotely (UK or Ireland) and can be worked outside IR35


The role will be responsible for establishing the data analytics and business intelligence function, providing insights that will help shape strategy in all areas of the business; delivering vital data intelligence to support strategic senior managementdecisions, product development and product marketing teams.


This is an opportunity to build out a data function from the ground up so they're looking for someone comfortable performing analysis and reporting on it, with the capability also to build out the data tech stack and infrastructure.


Requirements:


  • Propose and assist in the delivery of research projects to improve general data capability.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track and analyse a number of key nongame data requirements including; business KPI performance, sales, forecasting, trend analysis, marketing channel analysis and attribution modelling.
  • Develop, improve and optimise the data structures required to track product performance and player behaviour across multiple channels and titles.
  • Identify, measure and report key metrics around ingame engagement, progression, and user behaviour.
  • Create robust segmentation models to allow the business to understand our audiences and players
  • Generate meaningful insights that improve performance marketing, monetisation, sales distribution, sales performance, retention, and engagement across our games.
  • Work with the product development teams to give advice on the implementation of user acquisition, monetisation and retention recommendations.
  • Proactively monitor game performance metrics to advise on commercial opportunities.
  • Create forecasts for users and revenue on current and new projects to enable cost/benefit analysis prior to development and commercial decisions (pricing, SKU planning etc) on live products.
  • Skills with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Google Data Suite, Tableau, Python would be a bonus.
