Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Digital Operations to join our team, working closely with the DD&T Senior Leadership Team to embed the Trust's DD&T Strategy.

The postholder will be a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team within the function.

A key focus of the role will be the continuous improvement of our Digital Services to support the Trust in achieving its strategic digital priorities.

Being able to develop efficient and customer centric services is critical to the success of the role.

You will need to have senior level experience in Digital Operations in an NHS or similarly complex environment and will need to have worked in Technical based roles previously, with significant service desk, infrastructure and networking experience at a senior level.

You will be required to deputise for colleagues in the department at a variety of forums and with a variety of stakeholders including colleagues operating at Sub-Board and Board levels.

You will also be required to represent the Trust at local, regional and national events and forums.

You will have successfully implemented large scale organisational change, and have considerable experience of developing and implementing Digital/IT strategies, policies and procedures.

You will also need demonstrable experience of managing large teams of staff where possible.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can demonstrate a coaching style, and can respond positively in a fast paced and changing environment.

You will need to have excellent technical IT, planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate others, and demonstrate a commitment to personal development, and dedication and enthusiasm for the Digital agenda.

For an informal conversation about the role with the Chief Finance Officer Steve Washbourne.
