Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


PR:


  • Attain quality media coverage in targeted press.
  • Manage and implement communications to the UK financial services media, both B2B and B2C, supporting the specialised lending markets that the Group operates within.
  • Sell in stories to the National, trade, local and regional press promoting our Group and ensure effective and proactive communication of the brand, the company and its products.
  • Proactively manage media relationships and promote and protect the Group's brand(s).
  • Ensure PR/content plans are communicated to the team, understood and delivered on time.
  • Support in the creation of monthly PR reports and communication to the business.
  • Coordinate with the digital team to host blogs, news and case studies on the Together website
  • Attend and input into meetings with agencies (PR & Content), ensuring they're adhering to contractual arrangements and optimising performance.
  • Measure PR performance and online reputation using Signal/Rep Con
  • Raise POs and ensure budget trackers and forecasts are uptodate
  • Work collaboratively with the strategy team to ensure PR plans are added into overall marketing plan

Brand:


  • Collaborate with Brand and PR Teams to create compelling and engaging content, relevant and targeted for each audience and marketing channel.
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to plan, develop and optimise onsite content for SEO and UX opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Internal Comms, CSR, ESG and Recruitment teams to join up comms on wider brand initiatives.
  • Ensure all content produced is measured and report on the content performance, utilising this to inform future content.
  • Develop and own a content calendar aligned to business plan and support delivery of growth objectives
  • Produce a wide variety of copy and content for multiple audiences including long and short copy, scriptwriting and AV development, brand communications and campaign concepts
  • Meet, engage and build relationships with influencers on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders across the business to generate ideas, create buy in and delivery of the content strategy and associated plans.
  • Work to Together's tone of voice and copy style guides to ensure consistency
  • Supporting all areas of the business with quality writing, while educating and emphasising the importance and value of consistently delivering our brand tone.
  • Work with Customer Experience to understand the role of copy and content in the wider customer journey.
  • Manage content through the workflow system, ensuring deadlines and process is adhered to for the content team.
  • Maintain copy and A/V style guides.
  • Accountable for consistency and clarity in all communications to ensure simplicity, brand fit and impact. Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ensure all content is regulatory compliant.

Qualifications:


Essential Skills and Experience:


  • 2+ years' experience of professional copywriting.
  • Media, journalism or public relations experience.
  • A track record of successful PR in B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Experience of delivering a wide range of PR campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills with ability to write for multiple channels and audiences.
  • Creatively strong with ability to generate ideas.
  • Sound understanding of SEO best practices to produce SEO rich content.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture when answering content and copy briefs.
  • Ability to write on brand copy closely following brand guidelines.
  • Ability to write across all formats with a joined up tone of voice.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build
