What does the position entail?
You will actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people who live in the home.

As a Team Leader, you will provide high quality childcare practice, within Aspris Care's Philosophy of Care, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.

You will support the Registered Home Manager to ensure that a warm, nurturing, homely and accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered, and developed in accordance with our core values.

Requirements:

Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting
Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent / or working towards
Ability to interact with a range of people/young people
Confidence and ability to lead a team of practitioners
To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
Shift work including weekends, evenings and sleepin duties on a rota system
Full driving licence is essential.

Working a rota of: 1 day on - 2 days off
