What does the position entail?
You will actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people who live in the home.

As a Team Leader, you will provide high quality childcare practice, within Aspris Care's Philosophy of Care, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.


You will support the Registered Home Manager to ensure that a warm, nurturing, homely and accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered, and developed in accordance with our core values.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting
  • Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent / or working towards
  • Ability to interact with a range of people/young people
  • Confidence and ability to lead a team of practitioners
  • To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
  • Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
  • Shift work including weekends, evenings and sleepin duties on a rota system
  • Full driving licence is essential.
Working a rota of: 1 day on - 2 days off
